John Schoonraad has been in the industry for over 30 years – John has done over a thousand life-cast’s, from hands, feet, heads to full bodies. His two sons; Robin and Tristan, who, themselves are accomplished mould makers and FX Technicians, have joined him. John and his sons have worked with Rick Baker, Jim Henson’s Creature workshop, WETA and Stan Winston’s Effect Workshop. John's first film he worked on at Elstree Studios was Green Ice, which starred Ryan O’Neil, Anne Archer and Omar Sharif. John went on to work on The Dark Crystal, Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark, Return of the Jedi, Temple of Doom, Band of Brothers, Saving Private Ryan and Gladiator. Johns list of films can be found here. John’s most recent films have included Rambo (2007), Kick Ass (2009), Wolfman (2009) and Clash of the Titans (both 1981 and 2010 versions). His life-casting and prosthetic work for TV has also spanned across the years with his work seen on Prime Suspects, Silent Witness, Waking the Dead, plus many TV advertisements including Pablo the drug mule dog.
Life-casting classes, taught by John, Robin and Tristan Schoonraad will be taking place throughout summer at the studios and there are limited places, so please book early to avoid disappointment.

We are still selling, hiring, buying and casing props from your favourite films. We have been working with production companies, actors and stunt men and have been providing props for the film and TV industry, that we have now started a separate section of the business dedicated to providing the props needed for your production.
We have moved into new and bigger premises at the studios and the new address has been updated on the Location page.
We now have a better (more organised) Gallery for people to come and have a viewing of the all new original props from films that have been filmed at UK studios. We have spent the first year of business mostly updating our props and getting new original pieces in, see pictures below.

Our re-launch Party will be taking place on Saturday 25th April 2009 and will involve music, celebrities, munchies, drink and a good party atmosphere. Tickets are available by ringing us at the studio and all proceeds will go to Capital FM’s Help a London Child. There are a limited number of tickets available so please book your place soon.
